Obituary

Ellen A. (Tuominen) Anderson, 99, formerly of 7 Paris Ave., died Thursday, April 17, in Christopher House.

Her husband, Olof Anderson, died in 1974. She leaves two daughters, Doris LeBoeuf of Dudley and Nancy Harris of Webster and Florida; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces in Finland. A son, Paul R. Anderson, predeceased her. She was born in Finland, daughter of August and Engla (Kankare) Tuominen, and lived in Worcester for 80 years. She was educated in Finland.

Mrs. Anderson was a housewife. She was a proficient and avid gardener.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 21, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
