Obituary

North Grafton—Elizabeth N. (Nordigian) Kazarian, 79, of 24 Wheeler Road, North Grafton, passed on peacefully after a long illness with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus.

She leaves her high school sweetheart and husband of 59 years, Kazar "Ky" Kazarian, two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard S. and Anush Kazarian of Worcester; Dr. Edward L. and Sally Kazarian of Northboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce L. and Dennis Leoleis of North Grafton; and Lisa M. and Michael Serabian of Arlington; 8 beloved grandchildren: Kim, Kristine, Danny, Jonathan, Kyle, Erick, Greg, and Mia. Another grandson, Mark D. Leoleis, died in 1998.

Elizabeth was born in Grafton, daughter of John A. and Mary (Kouboian) Nordigian and resided in Grafton all her life. She was a graduate of Grafton High School and Becker Jr. College. A devoted wife and mother, Elizabeth was also an executive secretary, a lighting sales representative for Keystone Electric, and a medical office secretary. She was a member of The Armenian Church of Our Saviour.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m., in The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 28, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester.
