Obituary

Worcester - Elise B. (Lamoureux) Roy, 96, formerly of Mary Ann Drive, passed away peacefully Monday, December 10, 2012, in the Lutheran Home. She was the widow of Sylvio Roy (d. 1985). She was born in Worcester on Christmas Day in 1915, daughter of the late Julia (Lamotte) and George Lamoureux. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters: David Roy of Yarmouth, ME; Gerald Roy of Warner, NH; Kenneth Roy of Castro Valley, CA; Douglas Roy of Worcester, MA; Georgene Smith of Jacksonville, FL; Annette Kincaid of Chebeaque Island, ME; and Linnea Roy of Clinton, MA. She also leaves a sister, Norma Smith of Princeton, MA; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who all reside in ME. She was predeceased by a brother, Everett Lamoureux.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, Fri., Dec. 14 at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Home, 26 Harvard St., Worcester MA 01609.
