Obituary

Eleanor M. (Rogers) Gaudette, 95, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at home. She was predeceased by husbands Winston Fox and Joseph Gaudette. She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Miller of Meriden, CT; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Rogers and Diana of St. Petersburg, FL; step-children, Edward Gaudette and his wife Alice of Auburn, George Gaudette and his wife Cindy of FL, Gladys Mercier and her husband Donald of Worcester, Winston Fox and Robert Fox; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great, great-grandchild. She was born in Edmunds, Maine, daughter of Chester and Sophronia (Cox) Rogers. She graduated from Becker Business College and received her degree in sociology from Assumption College. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Worcester. She worked as a personal secretary for the former State Mutual Life Ins. Co. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 14, at 1:00 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Edmunds Cemetery, Edmunds, Maine, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19th.
