Obituary

Chepachet, RI/Worcester, MA - Eleanor B. Howard, widow of Daniel M. Howard, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009, in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, N. Providence, RI, at the age of 86. She leaves 2 sisters, Ruth O. Dansereau of Ware and Springfield and Charlotte Joyce of Worcester; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Esther Osborn. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Esther B. (Rumrill) and Raymond F. Osborn. Eleanor was a member of Adams Square Baptist Church and the Sons and Daughters of Liberty.

A Funeral Service will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Adams Square Baptist Church, 266 Lincoln St., Worcester MA 01605.
