Obituary

Worcester: Eleanor A. (Multeri) Mancini, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Christopher House surrounded by her loving family. She leaves a son Stephen and his wife Maryann Mancini of Shrewsbury; a daughter Deborah Mancini of CA; 6 grandchildren ; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters- Mary Sandstrom of CA and twin sister Evelyn Rida of Boylston; and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a son Joseph "Joey" Mancini; a brother- Antonio "Tony" Multeri; and by 3 sisters- Ida Casson, Jennie Multeri, and Francis Laganelli.

Eleanor was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frederick and Maria (Giacci) Multeri. She graduated from Commerce High School and briefly worked as a secretary before dedicating her life to being a housewife and mother. She lived in California for many years with her daughter Deborah and sister Mary. She enjoyed playing poker and watching football games on Sunday afternoons with her family. She also enjoyed cooking her Sunday gravy, taking road trips with her sons from California back home to Massachusetts, and shopping with her sister Mary. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and growing up in a neighborhood off of Shrewsbury Street in Worcester.

In honor of Eleanor's wishes, all services will be private.
