Obituary

WORCESTER- Elaine (Stahl) Prior, 86, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 in the Millbury Healthcare Center. Her husband of many years, Raymond W. Prior, died in 1996. She leaves 1 son, Donald W. and his wife Nancy Prior of Millbury and a daughter, Judith N. Prior of Louisville, KY; 2 granddaughters Heidi L. Prior and Kimberly A. Brothers.



Elaine was born in New Brittian, CT , daughter of Ralph and Rachel (Wheelock) Stahl and had resided in Worcester most of her life. Elaine was a graduate of Classical High School. She served as an Administrative Assistant for the former Norton Co. and State Mutual Insurance Co. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and she played with the Wesley Choral Bells. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines of Marlboro and Worcester Chapters. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and she sang with the Worcester Festival Chorus and the Worcester County Light Opera.



Funeral services will be held at the family's convenience. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
