Obituary

Worcester-- Edwin A. Grendell, 95, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at Radius Health Care Center. His wife, Etta M. (Braley) Grendell, died in 1999. He leaves 2 sons, Leslie Grendell of Oxford, and Winston R. Grendell of Worcester; 2 half-sisters, Velma Paradis of Houlton, ME and Emily London of FL; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A daughter, former City Councilor, Janice L. Nadeau, died in 2002.

He was born in Chapman, Maine, son of Lester and Charlotte (Walton) Grendell. He worked for H.P. Hood of Newport, ME and Lundgren & Jonaitis of West Boylston for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 20, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel.
