Obituary

Rochdale—Edward E. Hill, 89, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at home. His wife, Stella R. (Meleski) Hill, died in 2002. He leaves a son, Edward A. Hill of Rochdale, and a daughter, Linda Hill Sawyer of Florida, 6 grandchildren—Michael Sawyer, Michelle Sawyer Watson, Scott Sawyer, Jason Hill, Laura Hill Gendron, and Christin Hill and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester, son of Elmer and Edith (Erickson) Maki. He attended the University of Connecticut. He was a tool maker and a quality control manager for Worcester Pressed Steel and the Thomas Smith Co. He was a member of the Triumphant Life Ministries in Worcester.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A calling hour will be held at 10 a.m. before the service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to UMass Memorial Hospice, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613.
