Obituary

Edith M. (Lindsten) Nourse, 86, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the Belmont Manor Nursing Home, Belmont. Her husband of 51 years, Richard G. Nourse passed away in 2000. She leaves a daughter, Pamela M. Nourse of Acton; three sisters, Ruth Boo of NH, Esther Polzin, and Alice Meland both of CA; and two granddaughters, Rebecca and Abigail. A son, Ronald L. Nourse predeceased her in 1981. She was born in Everett, daughter of Thure and Hilda (Carlson) Lindsten. She was an active member of Salem Covenant Church where she was also the church secretary for 20 years. Edith was also a member of the IO/Eastern Star.

A Memorial Service will be held on Fri., 12/15, at 10:00 a.m. in Salem Covenant Church. Please omit flowers. Donations can be made to Salem Covenant Church, 215 E. Mountain St., Worcester MA 01606.
