Obituary

Edith V. Lehto, 96, formerly of Rochdale, MA, died July 11, 2016. She was the widow of Toivo A. Lehto and daughter of the late Maria (Laitamaki) and Peter Pulkkinen. She leaves a daughter, Minda Bergman and a son and daughter-in-law, David and Gail Lehto, as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Edith was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Worcester and its choir. She enjoyed keeping up with current events and was an avid reader and fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

A funeral service will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Saturday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the "Finnish Heritage Society " to support the Sovittaja Scholarship Fund.
