Obituary

Edith R. (Anderson) Bergman 91, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday Dec. 25th in the Meadows of Leicester Nursing Home.

Her husband Herman T. Bergman died in 1988. She leaves a daughter, Virginia M., and son-in-law, Stephen Aikens of Shrewsbury and 3 grandchildren, Kristen Bergman, Melissa and Mark Aikens and a sister-in-law Dawn Bergman; a son, Philip S. Bergman, died in 1990.

She was born in Worcester daughter of Carl O. and Anna (Wicklund) Anderson. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1931. She was a charter member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Shrewsbury. Funeral Services will be held on Monday Dec. 29th at 10:00 a.m. in Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 34 Prospect St. Shrewsbury. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery.
