Obituary

MCCandless Township, PA—Edith A. (Akesson) Gustafson, 86, formerly of Worcester and Rockville, MD, died Friday, August 27, 2004. Her husband of 53 years, Roy M. Gustafson, died in 1995.

She leaves a daughter, Donna G. Jones of Wexford, PA; grandchildren, Amy Tolhurst and her husband, Andrew of NC; and Shannon Schindler and her husband, Erik of NV. She was born in Halsingborg, Sweden, November 26, 1916, daughter of Edward A. & Anna Akesson. Mrs. Gustafson was a member of the Swedish Dance Club for many years.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 2, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, with burial in All Faiths Cemetery.
