Obituary

HOLDEN- E. Margaret (Johnson) Mallquist, 86, formerly of 9 Mayflower Circle and Windsor, N.H., died Sunday, June 15, in Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Her husband of many years, Russell W. Mallquist, died in 1988. She leaves a son, Wayne R. Mallquist of Holden; a daughter, Susan M. Carlson of Ballground, Ga.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest and Hilma (Falk) Johnson. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Mallquist was a self-employed caterer. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Stella Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Private burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund, 76 N. Main St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
