Obituary

Boylston—Dorothy L. (Senecal) Purtle, 82, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, at the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband Clarence Purtle died in 1990. She leaves a son, Alfred H. Purtle of CA; a brother James P. Senecal of AZ; 3 sisters, Rose M. McDonald of Boylston, Carol A. Nicholas of Boylston, and Lillian E. Milne of Rutland; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Two brothers, John and George Senecal, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George P. and Mary E. (Sauer) Senecal and lived in Boylston most of her life. She was a bookbinder for the Wesby Bookbinder Co. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hills and the Senior Citizens of Boylston. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, with a calling hour from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by am 11 a.m. mass at St. Mary of the Hills, 630 Cross St., Boylston.
