Obituary

Dorothy L. (Scott) Searles, 89, formerly of Lansing Avenue, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010, at the Christopher House, Worcester. She was the widow of Willard D. Searles. Four brothers and 2 sisters predeceased her: Harold J., Arthur W., Robert W., and Francis J. Scott and Edna M. and Marion R. Scott. She leaves many nephews and nieces and their families.

Dorothy was born in Worcester, daughter of Sarah "Sadie" (Brigham) and Winfield Scott. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and the Salter Secretarial School. She retired from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she worked as a receptionist for 35 years.

A private graveside service will be held at Hope Cemetery.
