Obituary

Holden: Doreen (Setterlund) Scanlon, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024 in Holden Rehab and Nursing Center after an illness. She leaves her husband of 49 years Thomas Scanlon; 2 daughters-Jacqueline Mercurio and Jennifer Scanlon; 2 granddaughters- Gianna and Sophia and 2 brothers- Stanley and Richard Setterlund.

"Doe", as she was affectionately known, was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Stanley and Jane (Masimo) Setterlund. She graduated from High School and owned and operated the Purple Moon Antique shop in Sterling for many years. She enjoyed going to yard sales, antiquing, cooking, and gardening.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doe's memory may be given to The ALS Association. To leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
