Obituary

Donna R. Lundquist-Keegan, 48, of Popple Camp Road, an HIV/Aids activist, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, in St. Vincent's Hospital after a long illness.

She leaves a daughter, Felicia R. Lundquist of Amherst; her mother, R. Florence (Hanson) Lundquist of Paxton; a brother, Barry E. Lundquist of Falmouth, Maine; and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Donald T. and R. Florence Lundquist. She graduated from Notre Dame High School and attended Vermont College.

Donna was a health educator and activist in HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness. She was in the speakers bureau of the Department of Education. She was a member of Positive Perspectives, Tapestry, AIDS Project Worcester, Pro-Health, Health Awareness, AIDS Action, the Governor's Council and the Department of Public Health. She received the Sidney Borum Award from the Department of Public Health.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the First congregational Church of Paxton, 1 Church St. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours are 4-6 pm Friday, Feb. 7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pro-Health-Burbank Campus, Fitchburg; or the First Congregational Church of Paxton.
