Obituary

Diane "DeeDee" (Gallant) Carlson, 58, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Saint Vincent Hospital. Her devoted husband of 38 years, James E. Carlson passed away in September of 2005. She had formerly lived in N. Oxford at 35 Prospect St. before moving to Oakham with her son and daughter-in-law, William and Annmarie Carlson. In addition to William she leaves her 2 other sons, James E. Carlson and Phillip E. Carlson, both of Worcester; a daughter, Colleen LeBoeuf of Monson; her sister, Paula J. Gallant and nephew, Erik D. Peterson of Oxford; and many grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Dorothy (Rogers) and Ernest Gallant. Diane had worked at A-1 Answering Service for many years, retiring in 2004.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 10th in St. Paul Cathedral, 38 High St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 9th in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02110 or The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
