Obituary

Worcester: David L. Richard, 66, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus. He leaves 2 sisters Faith Cavaleri and Brenda Richard-Keeler and her husband William Keeler; 2 brothers- Arthur Richard and Paul David Peckham-Richard and his husband Todd Richard-Peckham; 3 nieces- Carol, Olivia, and Samantha; 2 nephews Arthur Jr. and Ethan; his extended family at his group home; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Carol Ann Richard.

David was born in Worcester, son of the late Leon and Claire (Grenier) Richard. He worked at many different venues over the years through the Glavin Center and his group home in Shrewsbury.. He enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking and eating. He especially loved spending time with his two families and friends.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to lionsclubs.org/en/give-our-focus-areas/vision.
