Obituary

Darwin Morse Shortsleeve, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Life Care Center of Auburn. He was the husband of the late Ann V. (Castagnetti) Shortsleeve. He was born in Burlington, VT, son of Rosamond (Huntley) and Howard Shortsleeve. Darwin was an Eagle Scout, graduate of Wentworth and Northeastern University, and served in the Navy on the battleship North Carolina during WWII. He was an engineer for Algonquin Gas Company. Darwin is survived by a brother, Dane Shortsleeve of Ormond Beach, FL; a sister, Roz Gullbrand, of Maine and Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at 10 am in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. There are no calling hours. For directions and the online guestbook, please click link below.
