Obituary

Daniel M. Faulkner, Jr., 99, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 at home. His wife of 60 years, Ruth E. (Hawkins) Faulkner died in 1997. He leaves 3 sons, Glenn B. and his wife Anne M. Faulkner of Sterling; Daniel M. and his wife Gloria G. Faulkner of Spencer; and Bruce G. Faulkner of Worcester. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 26 great, great-grandchildren. A brother, Robie Faulkner and a sister, Beatrice Hutchinson pre-deceased him.

He was born in Maine, son of Daniel M. Sr. and Julia (Meader) Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner was a member of Greendale People's Church. He was a Mason for over 50 years in the Charlton Lodge. Mr. Faulkner worked at Norton Company as the head chef for 33 years. He was also a member of the Epicurean Club.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 11:00 am in the Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Tues. Sept. 25, from 5-8:00 pm in the funeral home.
