Obituary

Worcester—Corinne E. (Johnson) Bell, 89, of 26 Briarwood Circle died Sunday, August 22, 2004, in the Knollwood Nursing Home. She leaves her husband of 61 years, Harold B. Bell; daughters, Mary Ellen Preston of Greenfield and Heather B. Stewart of New Braintree; a son, Frank P. Bell of Beverly; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Bell.

She was born in Leominster, daughter of Christie A. and Adelaide (Porter) Johnson. Mrs. Bell was a teacher for several years. An active member of Adams Square Congregational Church, Mrs. Bell served as Sunday School Superintendent, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary.

Private funeral services were held with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Donations may be made to Gideon International, 87 Forest Drive, Holden, MA 01520.
