Obituary

Worcester, MA - Corey J. Cooper, 46, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center - University Campus. He leaves his sister and brother-in-law Katie and David Dickinson of Worcester; close family friends, Lisa Flanagan of Worcester and Mark Campbell of Grafton; 2 nephews, Matthew and Ryan Dickinson; 3 aunts, Wendy Sawyer of Sterling, Gladys Mountain of West Brookfield, and Susan Thibeault of Worcester; an uncle, Clyde Cooper of Worcester; and several cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle Donald Cooper.

Corey was born in Worcester, son of the late Carleton and Janet (Clark) Cooper. He graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School and Worcester Industrial Technical Institute of Worcester. He worked for many years as a Senior Design Technician for Saint-Gobain. He attended Liberty Church in Shrewsbury, enjoyed fishing, reading, listening to music, and working on cars.

A Memorial services for Corey will be held at the First Congregational Church, 1070 Pleasant St, Worcester on Friday, June 20 2014 at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Corey's memory may be made to: www.GoFundMe.com or the church.
