Obituary

Chester L. Sorensen 73 of 81 Shrewsbury Street, Boylston died Sunday, February 9, in the Worcester Medical Center. His wife of 55 years D. Phyllis (Mitchell) Sorensen died several years ago. He leaves his Fiancée, Violet J. Liljestrand of Boylston, 4 sons Chester L. Sorensen of Randolph, Mass., Mark M. Sorensen of Worcester, Donald H. Sorensen of Shrewsbury and Henry S. Sorensen of Leicester, 3 daughters Janet L. Grebla of Stratford, Ct., Lynn K. Sorensen and Kim P. Sorensen of Worcester. 14 Grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews, another son Wayne A. Sorensen and a brother Richard Sorensen predeceased him. >p>Mrs. Sorensen was born in Worcester son of Henry and Grace (Butterfield) Sorensen and had resided here all his life. He was a graduate of Worcester Public Schools.

Mr. Sorensen Owned and operated C L Sorensen Construction Company for many years retiring in 1995.He was a member of First Congregational Church of Boylston and The Worcester Lodge of Elks.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday (Feb 12) 12:30 pm in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Calling Hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
