Obituary

South Grafton - Caroline Joy (Wood) Smith, 55, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, a daughter of the late Rev. Clifton James Wood, Sr. She leaves her husband, Ken Smith; mother, Joan (Douglas) Wood; daughter, Amanda Spolidoro and her husband David; sister, Rev. Linda Wood-Boyle and her husband Doug; brother, Clifton J. Wood, Jr. and his son CJ; stepson, Jamieson Smith; stepdaughter, Stephanie Sovchuk and her husband James; and 2 grandchildren, Bella and Jamesy. She is predeceased by her sister, Laurie M. Wood.

Caroline was a graduate of Biddeford High School in Maine and UMass Boston. She was an accountant and ran her own business helping both for-profit and non-profit businesses. In addition, she owned and operated a courier service for several years. She loved doing anything crafty and kept busy quilting, crocheting, painting, and anything else artistic. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother and never spent a day where she wasn't thinking about those she loved.
