Obituary

Largo, FL: Carl P. Sundin, 105, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully at home. He leaves a son, Norman Sundin, with whom he lived, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 58 years, Edna A. (Beckman) Sundin, a brother Warren J. Sundin, and a sister Emma S. Happy.

Carl was born in Worcester in 1912, son of the late John and Mary (Landquist) Sundin. He graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a quality control manager at Cincinnati Milacron Heald Division for almost 50 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was very active in its social ministry committee including being in charge of the food pantry. He was a faithful Boston Red Sox fan and even attended a game each year he lived in Florida. He was also a member of the Greendale Retired Men's Club.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral will follow at 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
