Worcester—Carl O. Sjolander, Jr., 84, died Monday, March 8, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Nelson Sjolander; many nieces & nephews.
He was born in Hudson, son of Carl O. and Ellen O. (Ollson) Sjolander, Sr. Mr. Sjolander was a decorated WWII Army veteran who served in the European Theater. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a machinist at Morgan Construction Co.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
