Obituary

Brenda J. (Simpson) Dow, 55, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 5, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Pauline M. (Rockwood) and William H. Simpson. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Belmont Home. Brenda enjoyed collecting M&M and Betty Boop collectibles. She also enjoyed vanilla bean ice cream, old television shows, and she was a big fan of the show "24." Her favorite saying was, "Hello!"

She leaves her devoted husband of 36 years, Albert W. Dow; three sons, Paul, Jonathan, and Brendan; five daughters, Katherine, Jessica, Christina, Amanda, and Crystal; a brother, Brian Simpson; two sisters, Beatrice Tolson and Bernice Duprey; six grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their extended families. She was predeceased by her brother, William H. Simpson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Thursday, November 11th. Calling hours will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will conclude with a service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albert Dow, 4 Watson Ave., Worcester MA 01606.
