Obituary

Worcester—Blanche E. (Wheeler) Carlson, 82, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2009. Her devoted husband, Elmer A. Carlson, died in 1977. She leaves a daughter, Brenda M. Carlson; 3 sons, Stephen and Sherry, Alan and his wife, Bonnie; and Jesse and his wife, Elva Supernor; two brothers, Robert and his wife, Jan and Richard Wheeler; and one sister, Irene Rudolph. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Supernor, a sister, Mae Groccia, and a brother, William Wheeler.

Blanche was born in Worcester, daughter of Merritt and Mary (Hamill) Wheeler. She graduated from Commerce High School and was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a great listener and advisor. Blanche was a devoted mother and grandmother—someone you could always count on—she will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
