Obituary

Beverly P. (Alexander) Harootian, died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus. Her husband, Hirache Harootian, died in 1957. She leaves her sister, Harriet A. Alexander; her loving companion, Paul M. Haines, of Worcester; 4 loving Godsons, Steven, Jake, Mark, and Michael Tashjian; several cousins in MA, and others in Las Vegas, NV, and Fresno, CA.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Dr. Sooren S. and Alice (Juskalian) Alexander. She was a dental assistant to her father for many years and a surgical clinic receptionist at UMass for 26 years. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. She loved gardening, traveling, and her pets.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel with an 11 a.m. service in Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. A Dahngark service will be held during calling hours. At the request of the family, there are to be no home visitations. Flowers may be sent or donations made to the donor's choice.
