Obituary

Betty M. Kallstrom, 94, a lifelong resident of Worcester, MA. passed away on December 20, 2024 in Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab Center. Upon graduating from North High School, she attended The New England Baptist School of Nursing. She spent her entire career of 38 years with the Visiting Nurses Association of Worcester as a physical therapist. She never tired of keeping up with the latest medical news.

Betty was a long-time active member of First Baptist Church of Worcester. From stuffing envelopes, ushering, and preparing meals, she was faithful in serving.
Betty enjoyed the beach, and for many summers she could be found in Ocean Park, ME. She was the go-to person for any recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing or directions. She knew most everyone in town.

She will be missed by her sister, Ruth Grimshaw (North Carolina), niece, Cindy Powers (Florida), and nephew, Jeff Grimshaw (North Carolina), and neighbors.
Betty enjoyed people, she never met a stranger.
