Obituary

Worcester: Bette J. Lavallee, 67, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, in St. Vincent's Hospital. She leaves 2 sons: Lance E. LaVallee and William H. Gardner, Jr.; 3 grandchildren; her father- Arthur S. Lavallee, Jr.; 8 siblings: Denise Lavallee, Arthur Lavallee III, Catherine "Cassie" Thomas, Edward C. Lavallee, Johanna Pope, Dwayne Jarrell, Priscilla Jarrell, and Glenn S. Lavallee. She was predeceased by a brother Craig E. Lavallee and by her mother Jean (Carlisle) (Lavallee) Jarrell.

Bette was born in Worcester, raised there as well as York, Pennsylvania. She worked for many years as a clerk at Liquor Store on Millbury Street. She enjoyed doing crosswords. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts, especially knitting, crocheting, and tatting. Her greatest joy was making things for others.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, Massachusetts. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bette's memory may be made to a rest home of your choice.
