Obituary

Worcester—Bessie L. (Corley) Caley, 78, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at UMass Memorial Hospital. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Jessie (Pelley) Corley and was a graduate of Commerce High School. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she was once a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Martha Mary Circle. She was a secretary for the AAA in Worcester for many years. Bessie loved reading, cross-stitching, and solving crossword puzzles and also her Friday Night Club.

She is survived by her husband, George E. Caley, her son, William P. Caley and his wife Deborah Ledger of Grand Rapids, MI; her brothers Charles Corley of Upland, CA and Paul Corley of Rochdale, her sister, Dorothy J. Urella of Shrewsbury; 2 grandchildren, Sarah L. and Jessica A. Ledger; a great-grandson, Laiden J. Ledger; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
