Obituary

Worcester- Bernice M. C. (Caron) Rosenblad, 97, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in The Golden Living Center. She leaves her only child, George "Gary" Rosenblad and his wife Diane; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, George F. Rosenblad, two sisters, two brothers, and a grandson.

Bernice was born in Lisbon, Maine, daughter of the late Alderic and Mary (Levesque) Caron. Following High School, she worked in a factory making parachutes during WWII. She owned and operated Becky's Drive In Dine in Grafton and was a waitress in several local restaurants over the years. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory may be made to the ASPCA or the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
