Obituary

Worcester - Barbara J. Nugent, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves 2 brothers (twins) Richard Nugent of Washington, D.C. and Robert Nugent of Oak Hill, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother William M. Nugent, and 2 sisters, Eleanor Clouatre and Mary O'Brien.

Barbara was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Maurice and Sarah (Grant) Nugent. She attended Worcester public schools and worked for many years as a packer at Block New England Company. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and enjoyed collecting dolls and spending time with friends and family.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 8-9 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 1222 Main St. Worcester, MA 01603. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
