Obituary

Dudley—Argyrios Dimopoulos, 68, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009, while vacationing in Greece. His wife of 36 years, Soultana (Sotiropoulos) died in 2001. He leaves two sons, Christos Dimopoulos and his wife Debra of Dudley and George Dimopoulos of Putnam, CT; a daughter, Helen Gardner and her husband Steven of Dudley; 2 sisters, Dimtroula Argyriadis and Zoi Panagitou of Cape Cod; and 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Tanya, Niko, Sophia, and Alexis.

He was born in Hrisohorafa, Greece, son of Christos and Eleni Dimopoulos. Argyrios ran the family business, Thompson House of Pizza for many years.

Calling hours will be Sunday, December 6th, from 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A Trisagion Service will be held during the calling hours. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 7th, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel with a 10:00 service at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
