Worcester – Anthony “Tony” Ribiro, 49, passed away on June 15, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Irene Gikonyo; his two daughters, Brianne and Samantha; his parents, Peter and Hannah Ribiro; his siblings, Agnes, Margaret, his late brother Leonard Ribiro, Florence, Henry, Clement, and Steve; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Tony was born in Nairobi, Kenya, the son of Peter Ribiro and Hannah Wairiri Ribiro. He worked as a sub-assembler for a medical company and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others.

Tony enjoyed working on cars, socializing with family and friends, listening to music, and spending time with those he loved most. He will be remembered as a skilled handyman who could fix almost anything, as well as for his generosity, kindness, and dedication to his family.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1290 Grafton St. Worcester, MA, followed by eulogies at 6:30 and a funeral Mass at 7:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will take place in Kenya at a later date.
