Obituary

Anthony E. Reis, Sr., 68, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at UMass Memorial Healthcare. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Donna M. (Maringo) Reis; 4 sons, Richard Reis, Anthony Reis, Jr., Jonathan Starbard, and Richard Starbard, Jr.; 3 daughters, Barbara Madison, April Phillips, and Dawn Shelly; 3 sisters, Esther Diverdi, Barbara Reis, and Joan Faucher; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nephews & nieces.

He was born in Worcester, son of Emanuel and Josephine (Rinaldo) Reis. He was in the Air Force and served in Korea. He was a truck driver for Table Talk and Anchor Motor Freight companies.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 24 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A private burial will be held in St. John's Cemetery. Donations may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation, 1 Biotech, 365 Plantation Street, Suite 100, Worcester, MA 01605.
