Obituary

Paxton—Anna H. Zakarian, 94, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Hachadoor and Aznive (Kachadorian) Zakarian. Anna was a graduate of Commerce High School. Anna was a Loan Review Officer at Worcester County National Bank until her retirement. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour and enjoyed volunteering at Horticultural Hall. She also loved to cook and garden. A devoted aunt and sister, she is survived by a brother, George Zakarian, and two sisters, Virginia Zakarian and Roxie Orent, all of Worcester; a beloved niece and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, with a calling hour from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester and an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
