Obituary

Anna L. Brandt, a retired corporate secretary, died Saturday, May 12, in Autumn Village. Her husband of 49 years Peter C. Brandt, Jr. died in 2000. She leaves several cousins, two nieces, a nephew, and a grandnephew. Two brothers predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Waino and Lydia (Jokela) Toivonen. She graduated from North High School and N.E. Institute, formerly the secretarial school associated with N.E. School of Accounting. Mrs. Brandt enjoyed gardening, oil painting, music, and dancing. She worked many years at Rockwood Sprinkler Co. She retired in 1983 from the Feecon Corp., Westboro.

The private graveside service will be held at Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is directing arrangements.
