Obituary

West Boylston—Ann E. (Simisky) Tautkas, 93, died on April 28, 2004, at the Beaumont Nursing Home, Westborough. Her husband of 56 years, Alexander J. Tautkas, died in March. She leaves a son Alexander P. Tautkas of South Grafton and a daughter, Carol Bryngelson of West Boylston, a brother, Paul Simisky of CT, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Margaret (Yekumavich) Simisky. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College. She was a business manager at Bay State Spring Company in Worcester and Putnam-Thurston and Hickory House Restaurants. Mrs. Tautkas lived in West Boylson for 42 years.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 111 Worcester Street. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140.
