Obituary

Andrew Sarkisian, 94, formerly of Greenhill Parkway, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Holy Trinity Nursing Home. His wife of 46 years, Mary (Thomasian) Sarkisian, died in 1992. He is survived by 2 nephews, Harvey Sarkisian and Ronald Manasian, both of Michigan; a niece, Pauline (Sarkisian) Schoeneman of Arizona; cousins; grandnieces and grandnephews. Two brothers and a sister predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Jasper and Lutfia (Schabedjian) Sarkisian. A life-long Worcester resident, he was a graduate of North High and retired from Hobbs Mfg. Andy loved dogs, music, movies, and anything Country Western.

The funeral service under the direction of Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
