Obituary

Worcester—Amelia T. (Paulauskas) Deknis, 89, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Millbury Health Care Center. She leaves her husband of 65 years, John G. Deknis; 2 sisters, Aldona O'Braitis and Rita Raines, both of Worcester; 3 brothers, William Paulauskas of Westford, Anthony Paulauskas of Newburyport, and Albert Paulauskas of Webster; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Anthony and Sophia (Bernatas) Paulauskas. Amy enjoyed reading, traveling, and gardening.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, with calling hours from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon in St. Casimir, 41 Providence Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
