Obituary

Alton E. Hesselton, 89, died Saturday, May 29, 2011, in his sleep at Springwood Court, Fort Myers, Florida



He leaves three daughters, Terry Smayda, Susan Kaar and her husband Olavi Kaar, and Linda Selesnick and her husband Dr. Mark Selesnick; five grandchildren, Kerri Chaplis, Caine Kaar and his wife Sabrina Kaar, Philip Selesnick, Jeffrey Selesnick and Victoria Selesnick; four great-grandchildren; his brother David Hesselton, and sister Athlyn Fontaine.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Russell C. and Ethel A. (Gilmore).



Mr. Hesselton was a Naval World War II Veteran.


A Memorial Service will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m.
