Obituary

Boylston: Althea (Reid) Kneeland, 94, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Clinton Hospital. She leaves a son Reid Andrew Kneeland of CA; 3 daughters- Sharon A. Kneeland of Worcester, Andrea K. Daughdrill and her husband Stephen of Northbridge, and Susan C. Kneeland of Boylston; 6 grandchildren- Stephen and his wife Amy Daughdrill, Matthew Daughdrill, Amy "Katie" Daughdrill, Sarah Kneeland, Jeremiah Kneeland, and Elijah Kneeland; and one great granddaughter Caroline Daughdrill.

Althea was born in Stonington, CT, daughter of the late David Reid and Sophie Catherine (Loeffler) Reid. She graduated from Stonington High School and earned her Nursing Degree from Assabet Valley School of Nursing. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at various hospitals and homes throughout Worcester County. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, crossword puzzles and her pets.

A memorial service and burial will be held in Spring 2019. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Althea's memory may be made to The Salvation Army. To leave an online condolence message, please click link.
