Obituary

Alice (Mshooshian) Nigosian, 92, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 20, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Ralph P. Nigosian; a son, Paul M. Nigosian of Millbury; a daughter, Karen R. and her husband Azad Chaparian of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Stephanie and Daniel Chaparian and Kyle Nigosian; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Avedis Mshooshian predeceased her.

Alice was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Rebecca Mshooshian. She graduated from Commerce High School and Fairchild Business School. She was a senior instruction clerk at Norton Company for many years. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour and its Ladies' Guild, the Armenian Women's Welfare Association, the Daughters of the Nile, AVAKS, and AGBU.

Services will be held at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour on Monday, Jan. 26. A calling hour will be held at the church from 10-11 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
