Obituary

Worcester - Alice M. (Lambert) LaMarche, 99, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Nora (Cashin) and Henry Lambert. She was a life-long member of Our Lady of Fatima/Our Lady of Providence. After raising her four sons, Alice worked at Memorial Hospital for 18 years.

She leaves two sons, Francis "Buster" LaMarche of Florida and William LaMarche of Worcester; a sister, Doris Garney of Oxford; a daughter-in-law, Patricia LaMarche of Shrewsbury; 12 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Two sons, John and James LaMarche, and six of her siblings predeceased her.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Wednesday, January 2, from 4-8 pm. The funeral will be held from Nordgren Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 3, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Providence, 228 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
