Obituary

Alice M. (Carlson) Carlson, 85, of 12 Orlando Ave., died Tuesday, July 15, in Shrewsbury Nursing Home.

She leaves her husband of 61 years, Einar A. Carlson; nieces and nephews. A brother, Stanley Carlson, and a sister, Mildred Saunders, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Hjalmar and Anna (Scjoden) Carlson, and graduated from Commerce High School.

Mrs. Carlson was a bookkeeper for G.F. Wright Wire Co. She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved to travel and play golf.

Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, in Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Ave. Burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 41 Whitmarsh Ave., Worcester, MA 01606.
