Obituary

Worcester, MA- Alfred Giannino, 87, passed away in Worcester on March 17, 2016. He leaves a brother, Andy Giannino, and was predeceased by a brother Leo Giannino. He was also predeceased by his wife Anne (Bokis) Giannino in 2013, to whom he was married for 47 years. He was born in South Boston to Augustus Giannino and Christine (Maddalena) Giannino and moved to Worcester at age 5. He was educated at Worcester Boys Trade School. He enlisted in the Navy Air Corps in World War II. He was Sergeant at Arms in the Old Ironsides, Post 423 American Legion. He worked at Clearview Service Station for 42 years. Alfred enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and golfing. To my many friends and relatives, for all the good times and memories, thanks. His wishes to be cremated, with no services will be honored. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street directed arrangements.
